SEPT:   Sept was the best!!! Shannon was leaving The 3rd week in Sept. So of course we take her to Vegas!!! Okay not what your thinking; we don't party like that.  Me and Bre and Shan and SHOPPING!! That's all i need to say. Also we met up with Nicolynn.
We started shopping at like 3ish and didn't stop until 10.
It was a day of this dress or this dress??
Answer: BOTH

It was my first time eating sushi, it was really good. And surprising that little rolls can fill you up.  On the way back to our hotel Bre and I missed our turn and got stuck on the strip for an hour in traffic.

The next moring we went straight to Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.  This place is serously so amazing!!  If you are ever in Vegas, you HAVE to stop there.  Awesome shops & food.

H&M, FCUK, Sugar Factory, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Bettie Page, Rock and Republic, True Religion, and Shannon's favorite Bestey Johnson!

Shannon fell in love with this Bestey Dress. And she says that this is where she is coming to find her wedding dress.

We ate at the PBR Rock Bar ang Grill.  Oh it was so good!! and at night they have a mechanical bull. too bad it was lunch time when we went.
The Sloppy Joes were amazing.  The Mac and Cheese were crazy good! they had crushed dorito's on it.

After lunch (lunch was at 4pm) we went to check in our hotel room at the TrumpInternational Hotel. Our room was so awesome. we were so excited! This is the way to stay! no casino and no smoking!

Tv in the bathroom on the giant mirror!
Huge tub!! the spa and pool closed at like 8. so after the club we got in our swim suits and made the tub a hot tub it fit us all and we watch jersey shore at the same time.
also a huge shower
The best part was the bed!! Heaven!!! really amazing. we stayed in bed until we went to the Pure Night Club in Ceaser's Palace.
Nacolynn has a friend who is friends with a guy who was a bouncer at Pure.  And she got us on the list.

Heaton Hightlights (continue)

June: Even though we moved out of the Havard Ward, we still attended and still held our callings.  I have been in the yw presidency for 2 years. All of this month i was busy with Youth conference and Girls Camp. Also after youth conference 1 of our 5 girls is moving to St. George, and another 1 graduated from Hightland High School and 2 sisters are moving to North Carolina on the 4th of july. So this was our last month to be together.
We had 2 boys and 5 girls  and 2 ym leaders and 2 yw leaders and L.  one boys is hiding bc he doesnt like pictures. This was our youth conference hike and we also went to the SL cemetary bc there are almost all the prophets are there and  a lot of famous church history people there too.  Then the next day we went to raging waters.  I wish I had a picture of Tony after raging waters. He did not put ANY sun screen on. He was a glowing red. So funny and so miserable for him.  And I don't have pictures of Girls camp bc i forgot my camera.  but L came with me and Tony also came the last night. We camped by Kamas.
July:  We spent the 4th of July in EC at the huntington parade and L got tons of candy. After we went up to Joes Valley and roasted marshmellows and hotdogs. My parent bought some Giant marshmellows from the rez in NM and so that is what we are trying to put in our mouth.

On the 5th of July we went to the Provo parade bc shannon was walking in it.  All the missionaries from the Provo Mission got to walk in it. Bre made signs for us to hold when we saw her.  We were sitting at the round about and when the missionaries came, she walked around the other side. and we almost missed her. But we met up with her and her companions after the parade. We missed her. she had been gone for 3 or 4 months.

Nachelle's daughter Nayvee turned 1. They had a Curious George party for her. It was so cute.

We had our family pictures taken by our good friends Milo and Kim Quaroz. All of L pics are so adorable. They also did all the pictures that are on the blog.

August:  The Annual Heaton Reunion. Baby Lily was blessed by her grandpa Larry. Here is a picture of the heaton family at the ranch after Lily's blessing.

Shannon got done with her mini mission and got her actual calling to South Dakota.  she got a break in August to the mid of Sept.  Me, shannon and my mom and L went to NM to visit my cheii(grandpa).

L loved playing on the rocks and herding the sheep. She is telling us to hurry up.

At the end of August we bought a car. 2008 Toyota Camery.  I was very against getting a toyota. Here is why bc everyone in the heaton family has a toyota. except dustin they have a malibu.  everyone else. And we also have a camery but an older one. which is a great car but i wanted to be different!

but tony found this car and loved it. I wasnt sure at first bc i needed to remember how to drive a stick.

Heaton Highlights (continued)

May 2010:  Tony has been waiting for graduation all year. Hip hip horray!  He graduated with a Mechnical Engineering Degree.

Tony wasnt quite done at graduation.  He still had to finish his senior project. He build an electric motor for a river raft that is used for the Grand Canyon Tours.
His team got to take a 2 day raft tour of the Grand Canyon after they presented there design to the Company who run the raft trips. He came back as red as his shirt.

We had a lot of family time in May. I stopped working and tony was done with school.

We went on picnics and hikes and to temple square and the museum.
L loves watching the Dinosaur Train and now loves dinosaurs.

After all that fun and free time.  We headed down to St. George and the Ranch.
But we had to first stop in
Moccasin, Az.  That is where the Heatons grew up. I have never been there, in all the years of being a part of the heaton family. i have only heard about it.  it is the smallest town i have ever seen.  the old house was the cutest house ever. And i can picture the heaton boys playing cowboys and indians when they were little.
Pond at the Ranch.  We couldnt get L off the water.
